The Chayes Parallelometer and Parallelodrill set with original boxing.

"The Chayes Parallelometer and Parallelodrill," invented by Russian-born dentist Herman E.S. Chayes, was created in 1912 and patented in 1915. Its innovative design was considered groundbreaking at the time; however, due to its complex operation, it did not gain widespread usage in dental practices.

Dental instruments manufactured by "The Chayes" can be found in renowned museum collections, including the Smithsonian, Science Museum London, and the Dental Museum of the University of Athens. Nevertheless, here at Esoterica, we house one of the most complete and well-preserved examples of this remarkable tool.
